SharePoint is Microsoft's platform for intranets, team sites, and document libraries, included in Microsoft 365. Organizations use it to store, organize, and share documents and to publish internal news and information across teams.
Turn selected SharePoint sites and folders into a knowledge source for a Space. Documents from the sites and folders you choose are imported into the Space and stay in sync as they change. Everyone with access to that Space can ask questions about them, and every answer links back to the documents it draws on.
Bring in only the SharePoint sites and folders that matter for a Space instead of a whole tenant.
New and changed documents in the chosen locations are picked up, so answers reflect the current version.
Every answer cites the SharePoint documents it is based on, so you can open the original and check the details.

Omnifact turns the SharePoint sites and folders you choose into the knowledge base of a Space, so your team asks questions in plain language instead of searching document libraries. HR answers policy questions, project teams find decisions in meeting notes, and IT looks up a runbook on a team site. Every answer links to the SharePoint documents it is based on, so anyone can open the original and check.
Omnifact uses the team sites, intranet pages, and document library folders you pick for each Space. You bring in exactly what a Space needs, such as the HR policy library for an HR assistant or the project folder for a project team, rather than your whole Microsoft 365 environment. You can add more locations at any time as a Space grows.
The members of the Space. Everyone with access to a Space can ask about the SharePoint documents synced into it, and Space membership is what controls access. Omnifact does not mirror the permissions of individual SharePoint files, so sync sites and folders that every Space member may see, and give confidential material its own Space with a smaller group of members.
Omnifact keeps each Space in sync with the SharePoint locations you chose. New documents are added, edited documents are updated, and deleted documents are removed, without anyone uploading files again. When a policy or handbook changes in SharePoint, Omnifact answers from the current version and still links to the SharePoint original.
Omnifact reads PDF, Word, PowerPoint, OpenDocument text and presentations, plain text, Markdown, CSV, and JSON files from SharePoint, up to 500 MB per file. That covers the policies, handbooks, contracts, slide decks, and exports most teams keep in SharePoint. Excel workbooks are the exception: save key tables as CSV, and Omnifact can use them as well.
Synced SharePoint documents are stored and indexed in Omnifact, inside the Space you chose, so answers come back quickly and with sources. The originals stay in SharePoint under your agreement with Microsoft. Omnifact is operated in Germany, business data is not used to train the connected AI models, and admins can limit Omnifact to European or Europe-hosted models.
An Omnifact admin turns on SharePoint once for the whole organization. You then connect your own Microsoft account in your account settings under App Connections, and a Space admin picks the sites and folders for the Space. In some organizations, your IT team approves Omnifact once in Microsoft first. This works with SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365.
Connect SharePoint and the other tools your team already uses, and let Omnifact look up information and take care of everyday tasks.
