Google Drive is the cloud file storage in Google Workspace where teams keep shared proposals, contracts, presentations, spreadsheets, and PDFs. Finding the latest version of a file across shared drives and folders, or comparing two drafts of an agreement, usually means downloading files and reading them side by side.
Use your Google Drive files directly inside an Omnifact conversation without manual downloading or re-uploading. Omnifact searches your Drive by topic, owner, or date, reads and summarizes long PDFs or proposals, compares document revisions side by side, and checks who a file is shared with. You can also save summaries or newly drafted documents straight back to Google Drive. Every user signs in with their own Google account, and creating or copying files requires your confirmation.
Google offers this integration as a preview. It may change, and your organization may need to enroll with Google before using it.
Locate documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and presentations by name, content, owner, file type, or modification date.
Use one or several Google Drive files as live context in chat to summarize reports, extract contract terms, or compare two drafts.
Inspect who owns a file, when it was last modified, and which colleagues or external contacts have access to it.
Save a summary, briefing, or draft from your conversation as a new Google Doc or file in Drive, create folders, or duplicate existing files.

Omnifact searches your Google Drive, reads documents and PDFs live in chat, checks file ownership and sharing settings, and saves new files back to Drive. Project leads pull the latest client proposal without digging through folders, finance summarizes lengthy PDF reports, and legal compares two contract drafts side by side in one conversation.
Describe the file in plain language, such as the Q3 budget presentation or last year's supplier agreement. Omnifact searches your Google Drive by title, content, owner, or date, reads the matching file, and summarizes it or answers your follow-up questions in the same chat.
Yes. Ask Omnifact to save a briefing, meeting recap, or draft report from your chat as a new Google Doc or file in the Drive folder you choose. Omnifact shows you what it will create and waits for your confirmation in chat before saving anything to Google Drive.
Only the files and shared drives your own Google account can already open in Google Drive. Because everyone signs in with their personal Google account rather than a shared admin credential, files that have not been shared with you remain completely inaccessible.
Your files stay in Google Drive under your Google Workspace agreement. Omnifact reads files live when a prompt needs them instead of copying or indexing your entire Drive in advance, and what it reads is used only in that conversation. Omnifact is operated in Germany, business data is never used to train AI models, and admins can restrict Omnifact to European or Europe-hosted models.
Your IT team configures a one-time Google Cloud OAuth connection for your Google Workspace tenant, which currently requires enrollment in Google's Developer Preview program. An Omnifact admin then adds Google Drive once, and each user signs in with their own Google account.
Connect Google Drive alongside the other tools your team relies on, with per-user permissions, confirmation before changes, and German hosting built in.
