We've made Spaces significantly smarter at understanding your documents. Your AI assistants now automatically understand what's in your knowledge base and can give you better, more relevant answers while maintaining the same privacy protections you expect. Instead of you having to explain what documents you've uploaded, your Spaces figure this out on their own.
How Spaces Got Smarter
When you upload documents to a Space, it now reads through everything and understands what each document contains. Behind the scenes, your Space creates intelligent summaries that help it understand what type of information is actually available in your knowledge base.
Before this update, you would have had to manually write instructions explaining what documents you'd uploaded and what they were about. Now, your Space automatically learns what's in your documents without any additional input from you.
What This Actually Changes
No More Manual Setup
If you've been manually writing "chat instructions" to explain what's in your knowledge base, you don't need to do that anymore. Your Space now handles this automatically whenever you upload documents. It reads through everything, understands what you've added, and keeps track of what information is available to help answer questions.
Your Space Now Answers Questions Better
The bigger change is in how your Space actually responds to questions. Because it understands what's in your documents, it can answer more intelligently depending on what you're asking:
For general questions: The AI can answer directly using its understanding of what's in your knowledge base overall.
For specific questions: It searches through the actual documents to find detailed information.
Smarter About Finding Information
Your Space is also much better at finding the right information when you need specifics. Before, it had to guess what might be relevant based on your question alone. Now it understands what type of content is actually in your knowledge base, so it can search more effectively.
For example, if you have invoices from a company in your documents, your Space knows this. When you ask about billing or expenses, it can find the right information faster because it understands what financial documents are available.
Privacy and Security
While your Spaces are getting smarter automatically, we've made sure your data stays protected throughout the process. We built this intelligence with privacy in mind from the start, following GDPR requirements as your Space learns about your documents.
When you use a Space, the knowledge it has about your documents also goes through our Privacy Filter™ if you have it enabled. Any sensitive information gets filtered out before anything is sent to external AI providers. Your Spaces understand your content better while your data stays protected.
Rolling Out Now
These smarter Spaces are now active across all of Omnifact. There's no additional cost—just upload your documents and your Space will automatically understand what's in your documents and answer questions better.
If you have existing Spaces, they'll automatically understand the documents you've already uploaded. New Spaces will build this understanding as you add files.
