Omnifact now supports Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing enterprise teams to access the platform using their existing corporate credentials. This integration works with SAML-compatible identity providers.

How SSO Works

Setting up SSO requires coordination with our team:

  1. Initial Setup: Contact sales@omnifact.ai to enable SSO for your organization
  2. Configuration: We'll guide you through connecting your identity provider using SAML 2.0 protocols
  3. User Management (Optional): Choose between automatic SCIM integration for user provisioning/deprovisioning or manual user management through Omnifact's interface
  4. Go Live: Users can then access Omnifact through your identity provider's portal or SSO redirects

Key Benefits

Centralized Management: Your IT team manages Omnifact access through your existing identity provider, just like other enterprise applications.

Enhanced Security: Your organization's existing security policies automatically apply to Omnifact access, including multi-factor authentication, password policies, and conditional access controls.

Simplified Access: Users log in through your organization's application portal without needing separate Omnifact credentials.

Compliance: All authentication events are logged through your identity provider, providing audit trails for security monitoring.

What Changes

Once SSO is enabled:

  • Email authentication is disabled - users must authenticate through your identity provider
  • User profile details (names, email addresses) are managed through your identity provider if SCIM sync is used, otherwise managed manually through Omnifact
  • All user roles (organization admin/member roles and space roles) are managed through Omnifact's interface - synced users are by default members
