# Lucid

Lucid is a visual collaboration suite from Lucid Software that includes Lucidchart for diagramming and Lucidspark for virtual whiteboarding. Teams use it to map processes, document systems and architectures, build org charts, and brainstorm together.

Have a Lucidchart diagram explained in plain language, find boards in Lucidspark, or describe a process or org chart and get it back as a new diagram. The Lucid integration lets users find and read their Lucidchart diagrams and Lucidspark boards, create new diagrams, and export or share documents directly from Omnifact. Users sign in with their own Lucid account and only see and change documents they have access to in Lucid.

### Can I turn a written process into a Lucidchart flowchart?

Yes. Describe the steps in the chat, or paste them from a handbook or ticket, and Omnifact creates the diagram in your Lucid account. Flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, BPMN processes, data models, sequence diagrams, and mind maps all work. You review the result in Lucid and keep editing it there.

### Can Omnifact summarize a Lucidspark board?

Yes. Ask Omnifact to find a Lucidspark board by keyword and summarize what the team collected, for example the notes from a workshop or a retrospective. You can follow up with questions about single items, and the summary is ready to share as next steps.

### Which Lucidchart and Lucidspark documents can Omnifact see?

Exactly the diagrams and boards you can already open in Lucid. Everyone signs in with their own Lucid account, so a colleague's private documents stay private, and Omnifact never works through a shared admin account. Anyone can disconnect their account again at any time.

### Does Omnifact ask before creating or sharing a Lucid document?

Yes. By default, creating a diagram, changing a document, or inviting a colleague by email waits for your confirmation in the chat, while searching and reading run right away. Admins decide which Lucid actions are allowed, which need confirmation, and which are switched off.

### How does Omnifact handle Lucid documents?

Your Lucid content stays in Lucid under your agreement with Lucid. Omnifact reads diagrams and boards live when a request needs them, instead of copying or indexing your documents in advance, and what it reads becomes part of that conversation. Omnifact is operated in Germany, business data is not used to train the connected AI models, and admins can limit Omnifact to European or Europe-hosted models.

### How do I connect Lucidchart to Omnifact?

An Omnifact admin adds Lucid once for the whole organization, and everyone then signs in with their own Lucid account, which covers both Lucidchart and Lucidspark. On Lucid Team and Enterprise plans, a Lucid admin first allows connections to AI assistants in Lucid's security settings.
