# Feature Drop: GPT-5.1 and Azure GPT-5.1 Live on Omnifact

GPT-5.1 is now available on Omnifact, replacing [GPT-5](https://omnifact.ai/blog/feature-drop-introducing-gpt-5) as the most powerful OpenAI model on the platform. This update includes support for both the standard OpenAI version and the Azure-hosted variant.

## What’s new in GPT-5.1

GPT-5.1 introduces the following improvements:

-   **Adaptive Reasoning**: The model dynamically adjusts processing time based on task complexity, offering faster responses for simple queries and deeper analysis for complex ones.
-   **Efficiency**: Optimized for reduced latency across all task types.
-   **Instruction Following**: Enhanced steerability with reduced deviation from topics and better adherence to formatting requirements.

## Azure Hosting

**Azure GPT-5.1** is also available. The Azure-hosted variant processes data within Microsoft Azure's infrastructure which allows organizations with specific data residency or compliance requirements (such as GDPR) to use the same model capabilities within [Azure's security framework](https://omnifact.ai/blog/feature-drop-azure-openai-integration).
